Ernesford Grange is a remarkable school and it is a pleasure to be your Headteacher and to work in partnership with staff, students, governors and the local community.Over many years Ernesford Grange has developed a well-earned reputation for being a very caring and supportive school and very much part of the local community and the City of Coventry. I have seen and appreciated so many varied and exciting activities that contribute to students’ all round development. These include imaginative international exchanges and visits, a wide variety of community actions and fund-raising events, like the Children in Need Appeal led by the Sixth Form and support for the Coventry Food Bank. The range and number of Sporting and Cultural opportunities are amazing and are clearly much appreciated by all the students. One particular highlight is the ‘Schools Build a Plane Challenge’. To be selected to participate in this prestigious National Project brings great credit to all those involved. During every day at school it is part of my routine to walk around the school, meeting students and staff in their classrooms and specialist areas. I am always impressed with student behaviour and their attitudes towards learning and teachers working hard to inspire and motivate all our young people. I know that together, we can make the lessons and the learning experiences of our young people even more exciting and fulfilling. I am more convinced than ever that every student at Ernesford Grange can achieve great things in the future. We have enthusiastic students, committed and hardworking staff, supportive governors, community and parents. That is a recipe for a wonderful future and I passionately believe it is all very possible with your continued support and encouragement.Mrs Christine Dennington Headteacher
